Ron Ellis 
Brass Arranger/Brass Caption Head – Caption Head
Ron Ellis currently serves as the Assistant Director of Bands and Director of Athletic Bands at the University of Central Florida where he is deeply involved in all aspects of the UCF band program. In addition to writing drill and music for the 250 member Marching Knights, he serves as the coordinator/director for the the Jammin’ Knights Pep Bands, Assistant Conductor of the UCF Wind Ensemble and Concert Band, and Instructor of the Marching Band Techniques Courses. He is also currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Wind and Orchestral Conducting at the University of South Florida where he is a student of Dr. William Wiedrich. He also has served as a conductor, clinician, show designer, music composer/arranger and adjudicator throughout the United States.
As a professional musician and conductor, Ron currently holds the position of Music Director for the Walt Disney Company where his duties include rehearsing, producing, and performing with outstanding college musicians from universities all across the nation and national recording artists/clinicians. In addition, he serves as a show coordinator for the Disney Student Musician Program at the Magic Kingdom where he coordinates and rehearses all student parade bands and street performances of The Fanfares of Christmas, The Christmas Brass, the Riverboat Band, Clown Band, and the Toy Soldiers and Glock Girls. He was asked to be the Assistant Director of the “All American College Band” under Ron McCurdy in 1993, the choreographer/show designer for the Orlando and Paris bands in 1999 and served as the director for the summer 2000, 2004 and 2005 Disney Collegiate All-Star Bands. Ellis also serves as one of the conductors of the Disney Candle Light processional orchestra for the Pre and Post shows. He is also the director of the Orlando Magic Basketball team's pep-band 'Momentum' and their drumline 'Rhythm and Blue.'
As a professional composer and arranger, he presently serves as orchestrator for Dr. David Brunner’s choral pieces and has had works premiered and performed at Carnegie Hall in 2 separate concerts. Other opportunities have allowed him to serve as orchestrator for “Parable,” an original musical, live ensembles at the Walt Disney Resort, and film scoring for the UCF Department of Film and Digital Media. In the marching world, Ellis served as the music arranger and drill designer many outstanding high school music programs across the country and is presently the music arranger and drill designer for 8 high schools in Florida.. He has also arranged and designed shows for Northwestern University, The University of Minnesota, the University of Southern Illinois, Samford University, University of Alabama Birmingham, the University of South Florida and the Florida International University marching bands. He has served as the brass arranger for the Yokohama Inspires Drum and Bugle Corps since 2004 and served on the brass staff for the Magic of Orlando from 1996 through 1999. In his marching years, Ron was lead baritone for Suncoast Sound in 1982, 1983, and 1985 and taught marching in 1987 and 1988.
Jeff Bridges
Program Director
Jeff Bridges is currently an instructor at Cooper City High School and Santaluces High School. He is starting his 31st year as an instructor including 20 of those with those 2 high schools. He is starting his third year as an A and Open class Representative on the advisory board for WGI and the steering committee. Jeff also is a designer for numerous high school bands including Cypress Bay High School, Boca Raton High School, Western High School, Olympic Heights High School and Lincoln High School in Florida. He has also designed and consulted with many high schools bands across the southeast, Texas and Colorado.
Jeff's drum corps experience as a member was with the Crossmen in the years 1980 and 1981. He has taught and designed for Florida Wave, The Colts, Spirit of Atlanta, The Troopers and Southwind.While with The Colts from 1990 to 1997 Jeff served as the Visual caption head and designer helping guide the corps to its first DCI finals in 1993. In 2000, Jeff became the director of the Crossmen where he served them for 2 years marking the return of the corps to top 8 in 2001.
Jeff Served as President for the South Florida Winter Guard Circuit for 10 years. He currently instructs or consults with the winter guards from Cooper City, Santaluces, Taravella, Cypress Bay And FIU Performance ensemble in south Florida. His time with those units has produced 2 WGI Scholastic A Class champions and 2 scholastic Open class finalist and FIU as an Independent A Finalist was recently moved to Open Class for 2010. When he is not teaching or designing he serves as an adjudicator for ISSMA and various high school band shows around the country and the FFJA where he judges guard and percussion for indoor.
Brass Staff
John Adcock
Brass Tech
Teal Sound is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. John Adcock to the brass staff this season. John is a sought-after instructor, clinician and adjudicator in the Southeastern Pennsylvania area. He is currently the brass caption head for the award winning Daniel Boone High School Band in Birdsboro, PA. and visual designer and program consultant for Avon Grove High School in West Grove, PA. John was the brass caption head for the Upper Darby Marching Royals from Drexel Hill, PA, the 2007 USSBA Group V National Champions.
John drum corps experience includes many years as a performer with Suncoast Sound, the Blue Devils, and the DCA World Champion Reading Buccaneers. As an instructor, John served as a brass instructor and as the drum major for Carolina Gold in 2006. He has also taught the Americanos, Glassmen and Bushwackers.
Professionally, John spent seven years in the US Army as a tuba player and sound engineer, including a tour of duty in Iraq and Kuwait in 2003-2004 as a part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He has also played tuba at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL and Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL.
John is an adjudicator with the National Judges Association. He lives in Thorndale, PA with his wife Michelle, a successful color guard designer.
Mike Steiner
Brass Tech
Mike is starting his 3rdyear as a memeber of the Brass Staff here at Teal Sound. Heis an alumni of Florida State University where he studied Trombone and Voice Performance andis nowvery active as a freelance musician, teacher and clinician; having played with the London Symphony Orchestra, Ormond Beach Symphony, Hot House Jazz, Perfect Martini Jazz and many other groups. Mike was Assistant Director of Bands at Seabreeze High School for 3 years, and is still a consulatant with the group. He has also been on the staff at Spruce Creek High School, Atlantic High School (Port Orange, FL), West Orange High Schooland Timber Creek High School, as well as many other programs in the Southeastern US.
Mike is currently resides in Port Orange, FL where he is the E-Communications and IT Manager for the Daytona Beach International Festival, the official American home of the London Symphony, in Daytona Beach, FL.
Frank Williams
Music Consultant
Frank Williams received his B.S. degree in music education from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida, and his Master of Music degree from State University of New York in Fredonia, New York. An educator for nearly three decades, he has taught at the junior high, high school, and college levels. Currently, Mr. Williams is the Director of Bands at Boca Ciega High School in St. Petersburg, Florida, where his jazz ensembles have consistently received superior ratings throughout his tenure. Recently, the ensemble won the First Place Gold Status Award at JazzFest USA, sponsored by Downbeat Magazine.
Mr. Williams has also been involved in the drum corps and marching band arena for over 20 years. He is the former Brass Caption Head for the world champion The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps; Suncoast Sound Drum and Bugle Corps; and Magic Drum and Bugle Corps; and is presently a brass consultant for the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps.
Mr. Williams is a member of MENC, FBA, Kappa Kappa Psi, and Omega Psi Phi, and has served as Vice President for the IAJE Florida chapter. He maintains an active schedule as a freelance composer, arranger, consultant, and clinician throughout the United States.
Frank Williams is also a 2009 inductee into the DCI Hall of Fame!
Percussion Staff
John Campese 
Percussion Caption Supervisor
A lifelong central Florida resident, Mr. Campese also has a long and distinguished drum corps history, marching with the Leathernecks, Florida Vanguards, Anaheim Kingsmen and Suncoast Sound. In 1989, Campese was a founding member of Magic of Orlando. He has also served as percussion instructor/caption head for such corps as Suncoast Sound, Boston Crusaders, Yokohama Inspires (Japan) and, of course, Magic of Orlando. For 18 years Campese has served as a performer/arranger with Walt Disney World. He is perhaps best remembered as one of the performers in the powerhouse Future Corps. Mr. Campese is also the founder and director of the current WGI World Percussion Finalist, Infinity Percussion from Orlando, FL.
Jared Johnson
Percussion Caption Head
Jared began his percussion education at age 9 in Deland, FL. Since that time, Jared has performed in many groups including the Magic of Orlando Drum and Bugle Corps from 1994-1998. He was a professional musician at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL for 5 years, performing with the student musician program, EPCOT’s Tapestry of Nations and Tapestry of Dreams productions, and the Candlelight Orchestra. From 2005-2007, Jared performed at Tokyo Disneyland as a Latin percussionist.
Along with his performance experience, Jared has been teaching percussion for the last 14 years. He has been an instructor for numerous high school bands including Tarpon Springs High School, a 5-time BOA AA National Champion and consistent BOA Grand Nationals Finalist. While at Tarpon Springs, Jared arranged and composed for Tarpon’s 2002 and 2004 WGI Concert World Finalist groups. He is currently on staff at Seminole High School, a 2-time BOA Grand Nationals Finalist and consistent BOA Grand Nationals Semi-Finalist, where he also serves as Front Ensemble Arranger. In addition to his duties at Seminole High School, Jared is entering his second season on the staff of Infinity Percussion, a WGI Independent World Finalist, where he serves as Front Ensemble Director and Music Ensemble Coordinator.
Jared has also instructed with several drum and bugle corps. He was on the staff of the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps from 1999-2003 and 2006-2007. While at Boston, Jared fulfilled many duties including: Front Ensemble Instructor, Staff Coordinator, and Co-Caption Head. Jared also instructed the Yokohama Inspires, from Yokahama, Japan, during the 2005 and 2006 seasons. This will be Jared’s second season with Teal Sound and his first as Percussion Caption Head.
Jared currently resides in Palm Harbor, FL, and is a member of the Vic Firth Education Team.
Lee Hansen
Battery Percussion Arranger
Lee Hansen is originally from Rockford, Illinois. In 1991 he moved to Orlando, Florida where he currently makes his home. Lee attended McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana from 1988 to 1989. In 1991 he attended the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
He has worked as a Professional Percussionist with the Future Corps at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT and the Village Beatniks for Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Other Disney projects include, Tapestry of Nations; the Millennium Celebration at EPCOT, the World Premiere of Pocahontas in New York’s Central Park, ABC Radio, The Disney Channel, 2 tours of Japan, “Live! with Regis and Kathie Lee,” International Association of Jazz Educators and performances with Susan Egan.
Lee has also worked in the roles of teacher, writer, and arranger for various projects such as The Great Moscow Circus, South Africa Tour 2006, Taiwan Tour 2007, The 1st Degree Percussion Ensemble, University of Central Florida, various high school programs in the Central Florida area, the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps from Boston, Massachusetts, The Infinity Percussion Ensemble from Orlando, Florida, and most recently The Teal Sound Drum and Bugle Corps from Jacksonville, Florida.
He marched twelve years with the Phantom Regiment Organization. In 1989 and 1991 he was named Drum Corps Midwest Champion Multi-Tenor Drummer. Also in 1991 he was the Drum Corps International World Champion Multi-Tenor Drummer.
Lee has several pieces published through Row-loff Productions, a member of the Percussive Arts Society and is currently endorsed by Vic Firth Sticks and Sabian Cymbals.
Osman (Cisco) Hance
Percussion Tech
Cisco has been involved in the marching percussion world since 2000. He performed with the Port St. Lucie High School Marching band for three years and graduated from the Fort Pierce Central High School Marching Band for his senior year. The three years with the Port St. Lucie band trained him well enough to audition and make The Magic of Orlando Drum and Bugle Corps battery after his junior year. After spending 2 summers with the organization, he decided to audition elsewhere. He left Magic and auditioned at Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps. During his rookie year with Crown, Cisco was named percussion section leader and center snare; a position he would maintain for 3 years. He aged out in 2007 with the corps, placing 5th in drums, the highest the corps had ever placed.
Cisco started his teaching career during the 2004- 2005 school year, his first year out of high school. He took on a challenge by teaching at 2 brand new high schools: West Boca Raton Community High School and Jensen Beach High School. In it's first year as a high school, West Boca Raton took its band to states, finishing 4th in its class. He then changed his focus to Jensen Beach High School and, beginning in the 2006- 2007 school year, Sebastian River High School. In Jensen Beach's first year with a field drumline, the school received superior percussion awards and a best in class award. In the 2007-2008 school year, Jensen Beach went undefeated in their class. In the 2 years teaching with Sebastian River, they received many best-in-class and best overall percussion awards.
Josh Peeples
Snare Tech
Josh Peeples is originally from Orlando FL. His experience in marching percussion is vast and has taken him all over the country competing with numerous indoor/outdoor groups. This is Josh's second year with Teal Sound.
Josh's marching background began in 1995 in Morristown, TN (WEST HIGH) as a tenor/quad drummer. He continued to play quads for the next 2 years. His senior year of high school he was selected as Drum Major (1998-99 Walled Lake Central High-Walled Lake, MI). In his senior year, he was appointed section leader and is a charter member of what is now known as Walled Lake Percussion where he played quads. Also in his senior year, he was the asst. conductor for the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps (1999). From 2000-2002 Josh was in the snareline/competition line at Michigan State University. From 2000-2001 Josh received back to back silver medals at WGI Finals with Shock Percussion (WGI Independent A Class). In 2002, Josh marched in the snareline for the Spirit Performing Youth Ensemble (WGI Independent World Class) and went back to Phantom Regiment to march snare drum. Josh aged out at Northcoast Academy (WGI Independent World Class) in 2004 on snare drum.
Josh's teaching background includes: Walled Lake Central Marching Band as a snare tech. Walled Lake Lake Percussion as a battery tech. Cheasaning Percussion Theatre (Cheasaning, MI) as a snare tech. Northcoast Academy as a visual tech. Infinity Percussion as a tenor tech. Oviedo High School as a full battery tech. Lake Howell High School as Battery Caption Head. Sun Lake High School as a percussion advisor. Seminole High School as a visual advisor. Teal Sound Drum & Bugle Corps as a battery/snare tech.
Professionally, Josh has been a member of the Detroit Pistons Drumline (Official Drumline for the NBA Detroit Pistons) as a snare drummer. (2006-2008).
Currently Josh resides in Orlando, Florida and is a Disney Cast Member with the Epcot performing trio "Da JAMMitors". He is also the Director/Lead Stick of "Rhythm N Blue" (Official Drumline for the NBA Orlando Magic). Josh is also lead for the "Titan 4" (Drum group for the NLL Orlando Titans). He teaches Oviedo High School as a battery tech, and is the Battery Caption Head at Lake Howell High School. He is the tenor/quad tech at Infinity Percussion (WGI Independent World Class and also a member of PAC). Josh also does private lessons with numerous students all over central and west Florida.
Arthur Goodman
Tenor Technician
Arthur Goodman just returned from his summer with 2008 DCI Silver Medalist, The Blue Devils, and is currently concluding his Associate of Arts Degree Santa Fe College . He is also spending his fourth and final year the University of Florida’s “Pride Of The Sunshine” Gator Marching Band.
Arthur began his marching percussion career as a member of the Buchholz High School in Gainesville under the instruction of Tom Hurst. During his high school years, he was a member of the marching band, the indoor drumline, the top Jazz band, and the Buchholz High School Wind Symphony directed by the highly respected, Paula Thornton and Vicky Nolan.
After graduating high school in 2005, Arthur began his drum corps career as a member of the Kiwanis Kavaliers as a member of the tenor section. The following season, he marched with The Magic Drum and Bugle Corps, again as a member of the tenor section. In 2008, his age-out season, Arthur fulfilled one of his biggest dreams by becoming a member of the snare line of The Blue Devils.
Arthur’s indoor career started during the 2004 and 2005 seasons, under the direction of Tom Hurst, with his high school’s indoor program, IMPACT. In 2006, Arthur became a member of the tenor section of the Orlando based ensemble, First Degree, which would finish their season as the WGI Independent Open Class Champions. The following season, he became the tenor section leader of the first Independent World Class ensemble in Florida: Infinity Percussion, then moved to snare and became the section leader and overall unit leader of the WGI World Class Finalist ensemble in 2008. Arthur will age-out with Infinity Percussion in 2010.
in 2007, Arthur also became the original member (tenors) of the extremely unique stilt-drumming ensemble, UP BEAT (also known as ZANCOS) in Orlando. The group performs at SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica, and also does special events, conferences and performances at various venues.
Arthur plans to move to Orlando by the fall of 2009 where he will be going to Valencia College to study Recording Arts & Sound Production. He is excited about the opportunity of working with Teal and is looking forward to the upcoming season.
Obed Resendez
Cymbal Technician
Obed is a Florida native currently enrolled in the school of business at the University of Florida. After a brief hiatus, he will be returning to the full time drum corps scene with teal sound this summer. Obed’s marching experiences include Kiwanis Kavaliers in 2002, Spirit of JSU in 2003 and 2004(where he was part of Spirits Cymbal Individual and Ensemble winners of 2003 and 2004) Jacksonville State University in 2004, Odyssey Percussion Theater in 2005, and the University of Florida in 2008. He has taught such cymbal lines as Jacksonville State University, Cinco Ranch High School and one of the in-line technicians at Odyssey Percussion Theater. Aside from marching and teaching, he has also done some cymbal related consulting for lines including Magic of Orlando, Music City Mystique, Spirit of JSU and is featured in the book Cymbal Technique 101. He looks forward in being a part of Teal Sound for the 2009 season.
Nick Souder
Front Ensemble Tech
Nicholas Souder is a multi-percussionist holding a music performance degree from the University of South Florida. Born in Tarpon Springs, Florida in 1986, Nick was a 4 year member of highly decorated Tarpon Springs High School Percussion Ensemble and Marching Band- graduating from their Music and Leadership Conservatory program. He has taught or run the percussion programs at Tarpon Springs High School, Newsome High School, Seminole High School, the Northside Christian School, and J.W. Mitchell High School, and continues to do large group instruction. He was a member of the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps from 2004-2006, and started his percussion performance degree program at USF in 2004 studying with Robert McCormick.
Since then, Nick has played with the Southwest Florida Symphony, The Ogden Broadway Theatre productions in Naples, The Ruth Eckerd Hall Jazz Band, The Spanish Lyric Theatre, The USF Orchestra, and the Robert McCormick Percussion Ensemble, and continues to give recitals, freelance gigs, and records regularly with bands and artists in the area. He has also been instructing the Teal Sound Drum and Bugle Corps since 2009. Nick is a member of the Percussive Arts Society, and has been a sponsored member of the Vic Firth Education Team since 2006. Outside of music, some of his other interests are fishing, ping pong, traveling, cooking, wildlife, climbing, and the beach (as much as possible).
Visual Staff
Tom Slaughter 
Staff Coordinator/Visual Caption Head
Tom has been involved in the pageantry arts for 26 years as a performer, instructor, designer, and adjudicator. Tom graduated from Largo High School in Largo, FL and was a member of the Suncoast Sound Drum and Bugle Corps. His instruction and design experience is wide ranging and has seen him having the pleasure of working with many bands and winter guards throughout the Southeastern United States. Currently, Tom is in his second year as Teal's Visual Caption Head and I will also be assuming the role of Staff Coordinator for the 2010 season.
Tom's judging experiences are varied as well. He currently judges for Winter Guard International and is also the Chief Judge for the Florida Federation of Judges Association (FFJA). The FFJA manages and provides guard and percussion judges to the Florida Federation of Colorguards Circuit, the South Florida Winter Guard Association, and the Carolina Winter Ensembles Association. During the fall, he travels extensively judging state and regional level marching band contests throughout the country. Tom is also the West Florida Regional Director for the Florida Marching Band Coalition and serves as a resource to the band directors in that region who host FMBC regionals.
In the real world, Tom is a Technology Resource Specialist at Wilson Middle School in Tampa, Florida. He currently resides in New Port Richey, Florida with his wife of 17 years, Rene'. They have two sons, Brandon (15) and Ryan (10).
Ralph Stewart
Visual Designer
Ralph currently lives in Orlando, FL and is a 1998 graduate of East Carolina University, where he received a Bachelor's degree in Music Education. Before moving to Florida, he taught middle and high school band in Carteret County, NC. Since 1993, he has been a visual clinician, designer, adjudicator, and consultant for many championship organizations within Drum Corps International, Winterguard International, and Bands Of America.
He marched in the brass section of the DCI World finalist Carolina Crown Drum & Bugle Corps from 1991-1993, and served as Drum Major from 1994-1996.
In 1997, Ralph became the visual designer for Carolina Thunder, an independent world class WGI percussion finalist. This was a position he held until the group chose to no longer compete. He is currently the visual designer for Infinity Percussion from Florida, and for Craven Indoor Percussion from North Carolina.
Ralph joined the visual staff of the Boston Crusaders in 2000 as a marching technician, and was their visual designer in 2005. In 2006, he was the visual caption supervisor for the Carolina Crown Drum and Bugle Corps, and has recently worked with the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps as a consultant.
Ralph has been responsible for developing the soundtracks for many WGI open and world class guards - to include: Braddock Independent World, Braddock Independent Open, Northeast Independent, Flanagan Scholastic World, FIU Performance Ensemble, and The Ventures Independent Open.
Jeremy Goldberg
Visual Tech
Jeremy Goldberg is entering his third year with the Teal Sound Drum and Bugle Corps visual staff. Jeremy marched in the Southwind Drum and Bugle Corps in 2000 and 2001 and The Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps in 2002. Since that time Jeremy has been teaching in the Central and North Florida areas with marching bands such as Lake Howell High School, Timber Creek High School, Oviedo High School, and recently at Santa Fe High School in Gainesville, FL. Before beginning with Teal Sound in 2007 Jeremy was a visual instructor in 2005 for The Magic.
Jeremy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker working in a Substance Abuse Treatment Center in the Gainesville area.
Jason Diehl
Visual Tech
Jason Diehl has been the visual instructor for the Lake Howell High School Silver Regiment since he graduated from there in 1997. Prior to graduating, Jason was part of the Magic of Orlando Drum & Bugle Corps from 1995 to 1998. He has received his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida . During his time at UCF he was able to be a member of the World Champion Concord Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps for the 1999 and 2000 seasons. He currently is employed at OCI Associates, Inc. in Altamonte Springs, Florida where he is a Mechanical Engineer. Since 2007 he has been a member of the visual staff of the Teal Sound Drum and Bugle Corps.
Tonya O'Malley
Visual Tech
Tonya O'Malley is currently the Director of bands at Sunlake High School in Land O Lakes, Florida. She is a graduate of the nationally recognized band program at Milford High School in Milford, Ohio, which inspired her participation in the drum and bugle corps activity. In high school, Tonya also participated in a WGI competition winter guard. At 16, Tonya began her drum corps career becoming a member of the Southwind Drum and Bugle Corps where she marched Mellophone. Since 2001, she has been involved in drum and bugle corps as both a member and a staff member. Tonya attended Bowling Green State University, in Bowling Green, Ohio, where she received a Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree and graduated cum laude. At BGSU, Tonya studied with Grammy Award and two time American Horn Competition first prize winner Dr. Andrew Pelletier. She played horn in the Concert Band, Horn Choir, Orchestra and a touring brass quintet while attending BGSU. Tonya has worked with numerous high school marching ensembles, as both a visual and brass instructor, in the Cincinnati, Toledo, and Tampa areas for the past 7 years. For the past two marching band seasons, Tonya has been a brass/visual instructor at J.W. Mitchell High School in New Port Richey, Florida.
Erick Guzman
Visual Tech
Erick Guzman attended and graduated from Cypress Creek High School in Orlando FL.. He has been a tech at Cypress Creek for 2 years under the direction of Jeffrey Willis and Derek Shapiro. He currently is a visual tech at Freedom High School under Franklin Jennings and is going into his 3rd year teaching at Freedom. His future plans are to attend FSU to pursue a music education degree along with a minor in music composition.
Erick has marched at Teal Sound since 2006 and aged out in 2009. While at Teal, Erick served 2 seasons as Horn Seargent and trumpet soloist. He is currently under a record label playing trumpet for a gospel latin band with well known gospel singer Eric Perdomo. This will be his first season as a visual instructor with Teal.

Amy Metzler
Color Guard Caption Head
Amy was the senior color guard technician for the 2008 and 2009 Teal Sound Drum and Bugle Corps. She is originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania where she marched with the Salisbury High School Color Guard, 1991 WGI Scholastic A Champions. She also marched with the Sunrisers Senior Drum Corps from 1995-1999. She has taught various drum corps including the Reading Buccaneers Senior Drum Corps 2000-2002, the Caballeros Senior Drum Corps in 2004, and the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps in 2003, 2005, and 2006. Amy has also taught various high school programs in the Allentown, Pennsylvania area.
She currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia where she teaches third grade at Bryant Elementary School. In her spare time, she also teaches the Lassiter High School Colorguard.
Hayden Rhodes
Design
Hayden is originally from Connecticut, but now lives in South Florida where he has been teaching Advanced Placemement Psychology and the Marching Band and Color Guard at Cooper City High School. He has worked with other local programs like Flanagan, Cypress Bay, Florida International University and Braddock. He has also worked with Eclipse of Minneisota, and The Southern Knights of the UK. Hayden was a marching memeber with Emerald Marquis (winter 2000, 2001) Braddock (winter 2004) and The Holy Name Cadets (2000, 2001 and 2002). Hayden's first Drum Corps teaching experience was with Magic of Orlando (2003), and then Boston Crusaders (2005, 2006 and 2009).
Greg King
Design
Greg currently resides in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He has been involved in the colorguard activity for over 20 years. He has been caption head and designer for senior drum corps: Reading Buccaneers and Hawthorne Caballeros. He was also assistant caption head at Crossmen in 2005. Greg has also taught and designed for several award winning local high schools.
Besides teaching, Greg also enjoys adjudicating in his local circuit.
Christopher Hamilton
Design & Tech
Christopher marched with Crossmen for seven years, aging out in 2002. He taught Crossmen from 2004-2006. Christopher currently resides in Virginia where he has also taught local high school colorguards.
Billy Saccomanno
Technician
Billy currently resides in Delaware. He has been involved in the activity for over 20 years. He has taught Phantom Regiment, Crossmen, Jersey Surf, Reading Buccaneers, and the Hawthorne Caballeros as well as many local high school and independent winter guards. Besides teaching, Billy enjoys adjudicating for WGI and the Atlantic Indoor Association.
Paula Alfonso
Technician
Paula is 25 years old and from Pembroke Pines, FL. She graduated from Flanagan High School where she was a member of the colorguard/winterguard. She has her bachelor's of science in Health Science from the University of Florida.
Paula has marched with a variety of different Drum Corps and Winterguard Ensembles. She was a member of the Cadets ('01), Magic ('03), and Crossmen ('06). For indoor she marched: Alliance of Miami ('03), Paradigm ('06,'07), and The Knights ('09).
Currently Paula resides in Gainesville, FL where she is pursuing a Masters in Education. She teaches Gainesville High School's Colorguard and Winterguard, and is a technician for Gainesville Independent.
