What Is It?
The RACE is ON!! Teal Sound wants you to see what coin will win the 1st Annual pocket Change derby by you collectiing your spare pocket change.
Its simple and easy, just collect your spare pocket change and bring it to camps with you. No need to sort it, just bring it in. A collection jar will be available at each camp during check in.
When Is It?
At Family and Friends Day in June, members of the Teal Sound along with the VolunTeals will be stacking your pocket change into dollars and will see what coin wins the 1st Annual Pocket Change Derby.
Will is be Honest Abe Loncoln, Thomas Jefferson , FDR or George Washington?
Who Can Participate?
Anyone: Members, Family, Friends, Neighbors, School Buddies. Just ask them to collect their spare change each day and donate it to you and Teal Sound.
How Does It Work?
1 inch of pennies stacket 10 high = .20 x 1ft. = $2.40 a foot
1 inch of nickels stacked 10 high = $1.00 = 12.00 a foot
1 inch of dimes stacked 10 high = $2.00 = $24.00 a foot
1 inch of quarters stacked 10 high = $2.25 = $27.00 a foot
After all the coin is stacked as above, we will see which coin will win the race and finish ahead of the others.
