Why do so many talented young people give their all for the Drum Corps activity? There are no superstar recording contracts for drum corps … no Olympic medals awarded for twirling … no PhD’s in marching and maneuvering.

But young people throughout the East Coast know that if you’re looking for a place to reach your personal potential, a Teal Sound program is where you want to be.

Young people are drawn to Teal Sound because of our tireless pursuit of perfection. They love performing in front of enthusiastic audiences all over the country. They love the camaraderie, discipline and sense of achievement that play such an important role in building character.

Drum and bugle corps travel daily throughout the summer; the costs of which are not cheap. Individuals who are selected to march in drum corps have to pay fees for the privilege of membership. A summer with the corps will cost a member up to $2,500 in fees that covers instruction, transportation, housing and food costs. This cost is a large amount for a young person to bear alone. This is where you can make a difference by pledging your financial support. You can sponsor the whole person or parts of a member.
